I'm a Brisbane-based photographer, content creator and social media strategist. I bring four years of commercial creative direction to every project and I'm living proof that you can build something real while having a toddler pulling up on your leg. Sami Cuff Socials exists because I spent four years building other people's brands and realised I had been sitting on a whole lot of experience and not doing nearly enough with it myself. I have been obsessed with creating things for as long as I can remember. I built my own audience to 44,000 followers, grew a national childcare brand audience to 14,000 and produced content that has been seen over 25 million times. I know how to build an audience, create content that actually works and help brands show up in a way that feels real.

Becoming a mum cracked me open in ways I did not expect. I lost myself for a bit, found myself again, and came out the other side much clearer about what actually matters to me. Turns out it is this. The photography, the storytelling, the connection. Creating things that make people feel something.
Photography is where that is most pure. You make something beautiful, you hand it to someone, and you watch their face. There is no metric for that moment. I have been chasing that feeling since I was ten years old doing backyard photoshoots with my sister. I just finally decided to take it seriously.
When I am not shooting or creating content for brands, I am loading Ashton into the car and exploring Brisbane together for my Places I Can Go With My Baby series. That series is its own kind of full circle moment, but that is a story for another day.
